How to register with the BDGA

Step by Step guide to register for a BDGA Event
Should you wish to sign up for a BDGA event the quickest and easiest way is online…if you know how. Follow this step by step guide and you will be entered in no time at all.
- First you need to register with the site. Simple click on the button on the top right hand corner of the screen - SIGN UP.
- Enter all the relevant information:
Name: Enter your Name
Username: Enter the name in which you would like to login with e.g. golf59
Password: Pick a password that is at least 6 characters long.
Confirm Password
Email: Enter a valid email address. – Please note if you have registered with the site before it will not except the same email twice. If an error message comes up telling you that you have already signed up please go back to the last page and follow the instructions at the bottom of the page to reset your password.
- Once you have registered you will be sent an email welcoming you to the BDGA.
- Re enter the site and you will be asked to fill out personal information about yourself and the type of events you may be interested in. Please ensure you provide your home club and Golf Link Number.
- Once you are logged in you will notice your name will appear in the top right hand side of the screen.
- Now you are ready to register for a event.
- Click on the event you wish to register with by going to the Events tabs and selecting your event. E.G. 2011 Brisbane Amateur Championships.
- This will then redirect you to a page asking how you would like to pay for your registration. Either via Cheque or Credit Card over the phone or via Credit Card through PayPal online system. (Please note that PayPal online Credit Card is the preferred option for the BDGA). If you choose the cheque or credit card option you will be notified before the event to organize payment.
- Once you have done this you will be entered into the event.
- Please ensure you remember your username and password for next time to ensure everytime you enter a event through the BDGA you will use the same username.
- Should you have problem go to the Contact Section (top right hand side of the screen) and send an email.
- If you do not get a reply within a suitable time frame please call the BDGA on 0421 045 908.
